1. DRUGS INSPECTOR
No. of Vacancies: 40 Nos.
Educational Qualification: A degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a recognized University or Institution.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/07/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.37700 – 119500/-
2. JUNIOR ANALYST IN THE DRUGS TESTING LABORATORY
No. of Vacancies: 09 Nos.
Educational Qualification: A Degree in Pharmacy.
OR
A Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
OR
Degree in Chemistry.
Experience: Experience in the analysis of drugs for a period of not less than 01 year in the case of candidates possessing a degree in Pharmacy or a Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry with Analytical Chemistry as a special subject and for a period of not less than 02 years in the case of candidates possessing a degree in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/07/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.36400 – 115700/-
The vacancies are in the Tamil Nadu Medical Service and Tamil Nadu Medical Subordinate Service. The candidates will be appointed on Direct Recruitment basis.

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms. No maximum age limit for SC/ SC(A), ST, MBC/DC, BC(OBCM), BC and Destitute Widows (i.e candidates should not have completed 58 years).
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Oral Test. The Written Examination will be held on 23/06/2019. The Examination will be conducted at the following centres- Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Tiruchirappalli, Tirunelveli, Salem, Thanjavur, Vellore and Villupuram. The Oral Test will be conducted tentatively in September, 2019.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.150/- for the post of Junior Analyst and Rs.200/- for the post of Drugs Inspector (Rs.200/- for candidates who are applying for both the posts of Drugs Inspector and Junior Analyst) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Note: It is mandatory for candidates to register their basic particulars through One-Time online Registration system on payment of Rs.150/- towards registration fee.
