4. FIREMAN (FIRE)
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: i) Matric (10th) or equivalent passed with- (a) Basic regular course of minimum 06 months duration on elementary firefighting from a recognized University / Institute. or (b) General Regular Fire Fighting course from Defence Institute of Fire Research, New Delhi or (c) Sub – Officer’s regular course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur.
ii) Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties.
iii) Should possess Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 31.05.2018
Pay Scale: Rs.9000 – 16400/-
Candidate should have with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates against reserved positions) in prescribed qualification.
Candidates possessing higher technical/ professional qualifications such as Degree in Engineering, MBA, Post Graduate Degree etc., in the relevant field/discipline will also be considered eligible for the above posts.

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards (For Fireman only):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 165 cms; Chest (unexpanded) — 81 cms; Chest (expanded) — 85 cms; Weight — 50 kgs
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Eyesight – 6/6 both eyes with or without glasses.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Computer Based Online Examination, Physical Endurance Test and Physical Standard Measurement wherever applicable. The online examination will be conducted at any one of the centres at Jammu/Kashmir, Bathinda, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Delhi & NCR, Panipat, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Patna and Gwalior. The online examination will be held tentatively on 07.07.2018.
