1. SUB-INSPECTOR
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Higher Secondary or equivalent and should be Ex- Police/ CISF/ Army/ Navy/ Air force/ other Para forces.
Experience: Must have not less than 15 years Service.
Candidates having experience of handling law-and-order situations, deployment of personnel, inquiry, crowd control, direct action etc. will be preferred.
Age Limit: Not below 40 years or above 55 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 19032/- per month.
2. GUNMEN
No. of Vacancies: 13 Nos.
Educational Qualification: From Ex- Police, Army, Navy& Air force or other Ex-Para forces having Guns with valid licence.
Experience: Must have not less than 15 years Service and adequate experience in direct action, patrol, watch and ward. Must have experience and competence in handling firearms for at least 10 years.
Age Limit: Not below 40 years or above 55 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 19032/- per month.
The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis for a period of One year.
The candidates will be posted at any Dock or off-Dock site or Headquarters of Port Security Organisation.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview.
