Main (Descriptive) Examination Pattern (both posts): Essay (250 words – 40 Marks), Letter Writing (15 Marks), Grammar & Comprehension Passage (25 Marks), Translation Hindi-to-English (10 Marks) and English-to-Hindi (10 Marks).
- Minimum passing marks in the Main Examination: 50% for General category and 45% for Reserved category (including PwBD).
- The final merit list is prepared by adding marks of Stage-II (Shorthand), Stage-III (Main Exam) and Stage-IV (Interview); Stage-I (Typing) is purely qualifying.
- There is no minimum qualifying mark in the Interview.
- All stages, including Typing and Shorthand, must be individually qualified by every candidate — no exemption is given to any category, including PwBD.
