Work Experience
Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching/research/extension education (excluding the period spent on Ph.D. study) not below the rank of Assistant Professor or equivalent.
Out of these 10 years, at least 2 years must be in the cadre of Associate Professor or equivalent in the 7th CPC Level 13A (Pay Band-4 of Rs 37,400–67,000 with AGP Rs 9,000 pre-revised) in a Government University or reputed accredited University.
A candidate with minimum AGP Rs 6,000 (pre-revised) or Level 10 (7th CPC) is considered equivalent to Assistant Professor.
