If you get a seat in CAP Round 1, you must report to your allotted college and complete the admission process by October 1, 2026, before 5:30 PM. If you do not complete the admission process on time, your allotted seat may be cancelled.

Maharashtra AYUSH Counselling 2026: What You Should Know
The Maharashtra AYUSH Counselling 2026 is being conducted for admission to BAMS, BHMS and BUMS courses for the 2026-27 academic session.
The Round 1 allotment has been made for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in private, unaided and minority colleges. The allotment has been prepared using candidates’ NEET UG 2026 merit, college preferences, reservation rules and available seats.
This is only the first round of counselling. More counselling rounds will be held later for the remaining vacant seats.
CAP Round 1 Selection List Released
The CET Cell released the CAP Round 1 selection list on September 27, 2026.
The provisional selection list PDF has 98 pages. It includes the names of 3,714 candidates. Out of them, 1,714 candidates received a college allotment, while 2,000 candidates were marked as “Choice Not Available.”
The allotments cover 146 colleges under the 15% AIQ category.
Report to College Before October 1
If your name appears in the allotment list, do not wait until the last day.
You must report to your allotted college between September 28 and October 1, 2026, before 5:30 PM. This deadline applies even if there is a holiday.
At the college, you will have to submit your original documents and pay the required admission fee.
If you do not report within the given time, your allotment will be cancelled.

Checking your allotment is very simple.

Maharashtra AYUSH Counselling 2026 Course-Wise Seat Allotment
The first round has filled most of the available seats, but some seats are still vacant for the next counselling round.

The table shows that BAMS received the highest number of allotments. BHMS still has a good number of vacant seats, while only four BUMS seats remain vacant after Round 1.
BAMS Seat Allotment Details
A total of 7,546 students received BAMS seats across 113 colleges.
Out of these, 1,157 students got seats in government colleges. The remaining 6,389 students were allotted private colleges.
After Round 1, 143 BAMS seats are still vacant.
BHMS Seat Allotment Details
The Maharashtra AYUSH Counselling 2026 Round 1 allotted 2,727 BHMS seats across 48 colleges.
Government colleges received 134 allotments, while 2,593 students got private college seats.
There are still 606 BHMS seats left for future counselling rounds.
BUMS Seat Allotment Details
For BUMS, 246 students received seats across five colleges.
All 102 government college seats have been filled. Private colleges filled 144 seats, and only four seats remain vacant.
What Documents Should You Carry?
When you visit your allotted college, carry all your original documents.
You should keep your NEET UG 2026 documents, identity proof, educational certificates and any other documents required by the college.
The college will verify your documents before confirming your admission.
Important Instructions for Selected Candidates
The CET Cell has given some important instructions that every selected student should follow.
Original documents and the required admission fee must be submitted before the deadline.
The college will verify your eligibility according to the AACCC guidelines.
The allotted seats are valid only for colleges that have approval from the concerned authorities and are affiliated with MUHS, Nashik, wherever applicable.
If public sector banks are closed because of a strike, cheque payment may be allowed on holidays. However, you must replace it with a demand draft on the next working day.
Some candidates may also need to follow additional rules mentioned under Clause 4(B/C) of the Government of India Gazette notification, if applicable.
What Happens After Round 1?
The Maharashtra AYUSH Counselling 2026 process is not over yet.
Candidates who have received a seat should complete their admission first.
Candidates who did not get their preferred college should keep checking the official website because CAP Round 2 and later counselling rounds will be announced for the remaining 753 vacant seats.
If you miss the reporting deadline, you may lose your allotted seat. So, complete all admission formalities before October 1, 2026, at 5:30 PM.
