No: CMO/YP/2026-01) dated 30.09.2026 for engagement of Young Professionals on a fixed term basis at the Central Marketing Organisation (CMO) and Environment Management Division (EMD), Kolkata. Eligible Indian Nationals can apply online through the official website www.sail.co.in (Careers) from 30.09.2026 to 15.10.2026.
The engagement is purely of a temporary nature as a contract for service and shall not create any right for regular appointment on any grounds whatsoever. The initial tenure of engagement would be for a period up to Three (03) years from the date of joining, which can be further extended up to two (2) additional years (one year at a time), depending on eligibility criteria, satisfactory performance, and at the discretion of the Company. - Medical Facility & Insurance: Medical facilities (OPD & IPD) at Company-owned Hospital for self, spouse, and two dependent children. OPD expenses at city locations: YP-1: Rs. 2,000/month, YP-2: Rs. 2,500/month, YP-3: Rs. 3,000/month. Insurance premium reimbursement: YP-1: up to Rs. 20,000/year, YP-2: up to Rs. 25,000/year, YP-3: up to Rs. 30,000/year.

SAIL Young Professional Selection Process 2026
The selection process for SAIL Young Professional posts is based on:
- Scrutiny of Applications – The applications received by the closing date will be scrutinized for fulfilment of eligibility criteria.
- CBT/Aptitude Test – For a large number of applications against each engagement (more than five times the requirement), either Computer-based/Aptitude/General Management/Psychometric Test may be organized for short-listing candidates for personal interaction/interview in the ratio of 1:3.
- Personal Interview – In case of receipt of less than five times the requirements, all the candidates may be called for personal interview.
Note:
- Candidates selected for engagement shall be required to join the assignment as indicated in the Offer of Engagement.
- A level-wise panel will be formed in order of merit which will be operated in case of non-joining/early exit (within six months) of candidates against the initial offer of engagement. The panel will be valid for a period of six months from the date of approval.
