The Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Kerala, published the order on October 4, 2026. It officially approved the prospectus for Medical Post Graduate Degree Course admissions for the 2026-27 academic year.

The rules apply to state quota and self-financing admissions in government medical colleges in Kerala, the Regional Cancer Centre (RCC), Thiruvananthapuram, and non-government medical institutions in the state.

The Kerala NEET PG Counselling 2026 process will be conducted through a centralised online allotment process, known as CAP. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, will manage the process.

The rank list for admission will be prepared based on the NEET PG 2026 results conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).

Kerala NEET PG Counselling 2026: Eligibility

To take part in Kerala NEET PG Counselling 2026, you must have an MBBS qualification recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

You must also complete your rotating internship on or before September 30, 2026. You must have registration with the Kerala State Medical Council as required for admission.

The detailed prospectus also gives rules about seat allocation, Service Quota, fee waivers and admission criteria.

Kerala NEET PG 2026: Fee Structure

Kerala NEET PG 2026: Documents Required

Candidates who get a seat must produce their original documents before the college authorities at the time of reporting.

You will need the CEE data sheet and official allotment memo. You must also carry your NBE NEET PG 2026 score card and admit card.

The MBBS Degree or Pass Certificate and permanent registration certificate with the Kerala State Medical Council are also required. You must submit the Certificate of House Surgency (CRRI) Completion.

You also need your Transfer Certificate (TC) and Conduct Certificate. Candidates who completed their MBBS outside Kerala must provide the KUHS eligibility certificate.

Proof of date of birth is required. You can use your SSLC, passport or birth certificate for this purpose.

Candidates must also submit the original certificates related to category, nativity and income. These should match the certificates uploaded in the application.

The required bond agreements must be submitted on Rs. 200 stamp paper with witnesses attested by a Gazetted Officer.

Kerala NEET PG 2026: Qualifying Cutoff

Candidates must meet the NEET PG 2026 qualifying percentile to take part in the admission process. The cutoff is different for different categories.

For General and EWS candidates, the required qualifying cutoff is the 50th percentile.

For General-PwD and EWS-PwD candidates, the required cutoff is the 45th percentile.
