KEA Female Supervisor Selection Process 2026
The selection will be through a written competitive exam conducted by KEA, followed by a Kannada language test. The competitive exam may be held online (CBT) or offline (OMR).

- Paper-1 covers current events, general science, geography, social studies, Indian and Karnataka history, the Indian Constitution, Karnataka’s economy, rural development and Panchayat Raj, environment and mental ability (SSLC level).
- Candidates must score at least 35% in the competitive exam to qualify.
- Each question has 4 options. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- In OMR mode, there is a fifth bubble for unanswered questions. If none of the five bubbles is shaded, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
- KEA will send the marks list to the WCD Department, which will carry out the rest of the selection process as per rules.

Kannada Language Test
The compulsory Kannada language test will be held on 8th January 2027 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. It is an MCQ paper of 150 marks, set at the SSLC first-language Kannada level. Candidates must score at least 50 marks to qualify, and these marks are not counted in the merit list. Candidates are exempted from this test if they studied Kannada as a first or second language in SSLC or a higher exam, studied in Kannada medium, or have already passed the compulsory Kannada test of any selection authority.

Can West Bengal Candidates Apply for KEA Female Supervisor?
Any Indian woman with the required degree can apply. However, reservation benefits such as Category 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, rural and Kannada medium are meant for Karnataka candidates, so candidates from West Bengal will be considered under General Merit. They will also have to pass the Kannada language test unless they studied Kannada in school.
