ASSISTANT MANAGER (KOLKATA TRANSPORT FLEET) OF DIRECTORATE OF TRANSPORTATION UNDER THE FOOD & SUPPLIES DEPARTMENT, GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification:
i) Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering of a recognised Institution.
ii) Knowledge of Bengali – spoken and written.
Experience: Should have 02 years’ experience on the operational side of a fairly large motor transport organisation or in an Automobile workshop of repute.
Desirable: Knowledge of Stores account.
Age Limit: Maximum 36 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9,000/- – Rs. 40,500/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4,400/-
The vacancy is under the Food & Supplies Department, Government of West Bengal. The post is Temporary but likely to be Permanent.
Note: The candidates should have ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not applicable for those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali).
Reserved Category candidates from the states other than West Bengal shall be treated as General Category candidates.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC. PWD candidates will get Age relaxation up to 45 years of age.
