INDIAN ARMY, RECRUITING OFFICE NEYVELI INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR THE POSTS OF SOLDIER TECHNICAL, SOLDIER TECHNICAL (AVIATION/ AMMUNITION EXAMINER), SOLDIER NURSING ASSISTANT, SOLDIER CLERK AND STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL, SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY AND SOLDIER TRADESMAN. LAST DATE — 18/05/2019
1. SOLDIER TECHNICAL
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate Examination pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
Age Limit: 17 years 06 months to 23 years as on 01/10/2019.
2. SOLDIER TECHNICAL (AVIATION/ AMMUNITION EXAMINER)
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
Age Limit: 17 years 06 months to 23 years as on 01/10/2019.
3. SOLDIER NURSING ASSISTANT
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% marks in each subject.
Age Limit: 17 years 06 months to 23 years as on 01/10/2019.
4. SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY
Educational Qualification: Class 10th/ Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: 17 years 06 months to 21 years as on 01/10/2019.
5. SOLDIER TRADESMAN
Educational Qualification: i) Class 8th simple pass (for Syce, House Keeper & Mess Keeper) OR Class 10th simple pass.
ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject. 10th Class Pass.
Age Limit: 17 years 06 months to 23 years as on 01/10/2019.
6. SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL
Educational Qualification: i) 10+2/ Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% marks in each subject.
ii) Securing 50% marks in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in class 12th is mandatory.
Age Limit: 17 years 06 months to 23 years as on 01/10/2019.
Note: Candidates with 10+2 Vocational Subjects are not eligible for Soldier Technical, Soldier Nursing Assistant & Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical categories. They can apply for Soldier Tradesman/ Soldier General Duty if meeting required percentage of marks in class 10th.
Army Recruitment Rally for the posts will be held from 07/06/2019 to 17/06/2019 at Bharathi Stadium, Neyveli, Tamilnadu.
NOTE: Only candidates of districts of Tamilnadu namely Cuddalore, Vellore, Thiruvannamalai, Chennai, Tiruvallur, Villupuram, Kancheepuram and Puducherry district of Puducherry (UT) are eligible to apply.
Physical Standards:
(i) Height — 166 cms (165 cms for the posts at Sl. No. 1 to 3 and 162 cms for the posts at Sl. No. 6); (ii) Chest (unexpanded) — 77 cms (76 cms for Soldier Tradesman); (iii) Chest (expanded) — 82 cms (81 cms for Soldier Tradesman)
Candidates must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Medical Examination and Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
