ICMR-Indian Institute of Millets Research (IIMR) is recruiting eligible candidates for 05 posts of Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Technical Assistant and Project Coordinator – I/ II. The candidates will be appointed on Contract basis for a period till March 2020 and likely to be extended. The vacancies are under different projects mentioned below. ICMR-INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MILLETS RESEARCH (IIMR) WILL CONDUCT WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR 05 POSTS OF SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (SRF), TECHNICAL ASSISTANT AND PROJECT COORDINATOR – I/ II. WALK-IN DATE — 10/05/2019
(I) UNDER THE PROJECT “PARTICIPATORY TECHNOLOGY VALIDATION DIVERSIFICATION, VALUE ADDITION FOR SMALL HOLDERS LIVELIHOOD IMPROVEMENT OF SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL ZONES OF TELANGANA” FOR FARMERS FIRST PROGRAMME (FFP) COMPONENT OF KVK SCHEME.
1. SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (SRF)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Master Degree in Agricultural Sciences/ Horticultural Sciences/ Home Science with 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA.
Note:- Candidates having three years Bachelor’s degree and two years Master’s degree should have NET qualification.
Desirable: i) Experience in village level studies.
ii) Proficiency in Computer skills, working experience of analysis statistical data and documentation skills.
iii) Willing to travel to other places/ field visits and to work from villages.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (40 years for Women) as on 01/04/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 25,000/- per month.
2. TECHNICAL ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Agricultural Sciences/ Horticultural Sciences/ Graduation in any disciplines.
Desirable: i) Experience in village level studies.
ii) Good communication skills.
iii) Documentation skills.
iv) Willing to travel to other places/ field visits and to work from villages.
v) Experience in using CorelDraw, Graphic suit.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (40 years for Women) as on 01/04/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 15,000/- per month.
(II) UNDER THE PROJECT “PROMOTION OF FARMERS PRODUCER ORGANIZATION (FPOS) IN NUTRICEREALS UNDER NFSM”.
3. PROJECT COORDINATOR- I
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Master Degree in Agricultural Sciences/ Horticultural Sciences/ Home Science/ Bio Chemistry with 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA.
Note:- Candidates having three years Bachelor’s degree and two years Master’s degree should have NET/ GATE qualification.
Desirable: i) Experience with FPO/ FIGs.
ii) Good communication skill.
iii) Documentation & Preparation of Business plans for FPOs.
iv) Data Collection, Analysis & Report Writing.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (40 years for Women) as on 01/04/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 30,000/- per month.
4. PROJECT COORDINATOR- II
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: B.Com with Master of Business Administration (MBA), in HRD & Marketing.
Desirable: i) Working Experience with FPO/ FIGs.
ii) Good communication & marketing skills.
iii) Documentation skills.
iv) Experience in Handling Training Programs.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (40 years for Women) as on 01/04/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 20,000/- per month.
The candidates will be appointed on Contract basis for a period till March 2020 and likely to be extended. The vacancies are under different projects.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview.
