1. ORDINARY GRADE DRIVER
No. of Vacancies: 37 Nos. (UR- 18, OBC-09, SC-05, ST-02, EWS-03. Out of which, 04 posts are reserved for ESM) (Regional Headquarters- 01 post, Karnataka & Goa- 10 posts, Andhra Pradesh- 10 posts, Tamil Nadu & Puducherry- 04 posts, Telangana- 08 posts, Kerala- 04 posts)
Educational Qualification:
i) Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
ii) Driving license for Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) and Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMV).
iii) Candidates familiar with local language and terrain will be given preference.
Experience: i) Three years experience in driving trucks, jeeps or tractors in a recognized organization.
ii) Experience in repairs and maintenance of vehicles.
Age Limit: Maximum 25 years as on sdsd
Pay Scale: Rs. 19,900 – Rs. 63,200/-
The candidates will be appointed on Direct Recruitment basis. The vacancies are in field areas of Southern Region (Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka & Goa, Tamil Nadu & Puducherry and Kerala).
The selected candidates will be on Probation for two years.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Practical Test.
