Number of Vacancies: 331 Nos.
Distribution of vacancies as per Regions wise are as follows:
(i) Northern Region: 217 (Male-17 posts; Female-200 posts) (Gen-82; SC-23; ST-11; OBC-101)
(ii) Western Region: 69 (Male-11; Female-58) (Gen-27; ST-10; OBC-32)
(iii) Eastern Region: 08 (Male-05; Female-03) (ST-2; OBC-6)
(iv) Southern Region: 37 (Male-02; Female-35) (Gen-14; SC-05; ST-04; OBC-14)
Educational Qualification: 10+2 from a recognized Board/University
Candidates who are three years’ Degree/Diploma Holder in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from a Government recognized Institute will be given preference.
Candidates should have fluency in English and Hindi.
Marital Status: Should be unmarried.
Physical Standards:
(i) Female – Minimum 160 cms.
(ii) Male – Minimum 172 cms.
{Relaxation of 5 cms for SC/ST candidates & those from North East states & hilly states (Subject to domicile proof}
BMI should be as per medical standard.
Vision: Near Vision: N/5 in better eye and N/6 in worst eye. Distant vision: 6/6 in one eye & 6/9 in another eye Spectacles not allowed. Contact lenses up to + 2D permitted
Color vision should be normal.
Age Limit (For all above posts/discipline): Between 18 and 27 years. Relaxable upto 5 years in case of SC/ST and 3 years in case of OBC categories
Candidates’ Selection: Eligible candidates would be required to go through a Group Dynamics & Personality Assessment Test (GD & PAT) at the venues as decided by Air India Limited. GD & PAT shall be conducted in phases and candidates who qualify the same and fall in the applicable zone of consideration, will appear for a Written Test.
Selected candidates will be engaged on a Fixed Term contract initially for a period of five years, which is extendable subject to performance of the candidate and the Company’s requirement.

Pay Scale: During the period of training, the candidates will be given a stipend of Rs.15,000/- per month. After successful completion of the training, candidates may initially draw Rs.35,075/- per month.
Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.600/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favour of AIR INDIA LIMITED, payable at respective region, i.e. Delhi for Northern Region, Mumbai for Western Region, Kolkata for Eastern Region and Chennai for Southern Region.
Candidates would be required to submit the said Demand Draft at the time of Group Discussion & PAT.
