ANRF-National Postdoctoral Fellowship Details
- Monthly Fellowship: ₹80,000 per month plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per applicable norms.
- Research Grant: ₹2 lakh per annum to cover consumables, travel, and other research-related expenses.
- Overheads: ₹1 lakh per annum to the host institution.
- Duration: Two years.
Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualification: Applicants must hold a Ph.D./M.D./M.S. degree. Those who have submitted their thesis are also eligible to apply.
- Age Limit: The upper age limit is 35 years at the time of application submission (age relaxation applicable as per rules; details available on the official website).
- Submission Window: Candidates must apply within five years from the date of their Ph.D. viva-voce examination.
- Host Institution Restriction: Fellows cannot work under their Ph.D. guide/co-guide or at the same department/institution where they earned their doctoral degree.
- Mentor Limitations: A mentor may submit a maximum of two proposals per call and cannot supervise more than two ANRF-NPDF fellows simultaneously.
