The candidates will undergo apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act 1961 under Nagpur Division and Workshop Motibagh of South East Central Railway (SECR). A. For Nagpur Division:- Total 298 posts (UR-152, SC-45, ST-25, OBC-76. Out of the total posts, 11 posts are reserved for PWD and 29 posts for Ex-servicemen)
Trade wise vacancies:
i) Fitter: 26 posts
ii) Carpenter: 20 posts
iii) Welder: 20 posts
iv) PASSA/ COPA: 30 posts
v) Electrician: 50 posts
vi) Stenographer (English)/ Secretarial Assistant: 20 posts
vii) Plumber: 20 posts
viii) Painter: 20 posts
ix) Wireman: 20 posts
x) Electronics Mechanic: 04 posts
xi) Power Mechanics: 02 posts
xii) Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance: 02 posts
xiii) Diesel Mechanic: 60 posts
xiv) Upholsterer (Trimmer): 02 posts
xv) Bearer: 02 posts
B. For Workshop Motibagh:- Total 15 posts (UR-08, SC-02, ST-01, OBC-04)
Trade wise vacancies:
i) Fitter: 06 posts
ii) Welder: 09 posts
Educational Qualification: i) Passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board and (ii) Should also possess National Trade Certificate in respective trade from NCVT or Provisional Certificate from NCVT/ SVCT.
Age Limit: Completed 15 years and should not have completed 24 years as on 16/08/2018.
The candidates will undergo apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act 1961 under Nagupur Division and Workshop Motibagh of South East Central Railway (SECR). The training will be for a period of One year.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be on the basis of marks obtained in Academic Qualification.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
