APPSC Group I Physical Requirements (For Post Code No. 03 & 04)
As per G.O. Ms.No137, Home (Police-E) Dept., dt. 01/06/1998 and G.O. Ms.No. 319, Home (Police-E) Dept., dt. 16/10/1995.
- For Post Code No.03 & 04: Must not be less than 167.6 Cms in height and must not be less than 86.3 Cms round the Chest on full inspiration and has a chest expansion of not less than 5 Cms on full inspiration.
- For S.T: Must not be less than 164 Cms in height and is not less than 83.8 Cms round the Chest with a minimum expansion of not less than 5 Cms on full inspiration.
- For Post Code No.03 & 04 (Women): Shall not be less than 152.5 Cms in height and shall not be less than 45.5 Kgs in weight.
APPSC Group I Vision (For Post Code No. 03 & 04)
Post Code No.03: The Candidate should satisfy by a Medical Board as to his Physique, Fitness and Capacity for active outdoor work and is certified by the Ophthalmic Surgeon that his vision comes up to the requirements specified below without the use of contact glasses.

Note: In the main examination, the papers of Telugu and English are qualifying in nature and the marks secured in these papers are not counted for merit. The minimum qualifying marks for Telugu & English for each individual paper is 40% for OC’s/Sports Persons/EWS; 35% for B.C’s; 30% for SC/ST/PBD.

How to Apply for APPSC Group I Recruitment 2026?
Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official website of APPSC.
STEP-I: The applicant desires to apply for this Notification shall login to the Commission’s Website with his/her registered OTPR number. Candidate applying for the first time for any notification has to first fill the OTPR application carefully to obtain OTPR ID.
STEP-II: The Applicant has to Login in the Commission’s website with the User Name (OTPR ID) and the Password set by Candidate. After Login, the Applicant has to click on the “Online Application Submission” present in the bottom right corner of the Commission’s website.
STEP-III: After checking all the data and ensuring that the data is correct the applicant has to fill application specific data such as Local/Non-Local status, White card details etc. Once all the data such as Qualification details, Post preferences, examination centre, etc filled carefully and submit the Application form with Save or Save & Submit options.
STEP-IV: In any case, if the payment process is failed, then the applicant should start the fresh payment process as mentioned in STEP-II.
STEP-V: Once the application is submitted successfully, corrections in the application will be enabled after the last date of the submission of application and will be allowed up to 7 days only from the last date of applications. The corrections can be made in the application form itself by making a payment of Rs.100/- for each correction in said stipulated time.
