APSSB has issued the detailed notification for the Non-Ministerial Technical Examination 2026 under Advertisement No. 06/26. APSSB Technical Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates must meet every eligibility condition prescribed by APSSB. Qualification, age and experience are counted as on the closing date of application, 05 November 2026.
Uniform Eligibility Criteria
Under Government of Arunachal Pradesh Notification No. AR-33/17/2026-SECT-1-AR/111 dated 26 August 2026, every candidate must:
- Be a citizen of India holding a valid Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) of Arunachal Pradesh
- Be an original inhabitant of Arunachal Pradesh holding an Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) certificate
- Be able to speak any indigenous tribal language of Arunachal Pradesh and have working knowledge of the local indigenous tribes (language test as per the above notification)

The 3-year driving experience for Driver (LMV) and Driver (HMV) is counted from the date of issue of the driving licence. For post codes 31/26 to 35/26, the licence must be valid on the closing date of application, the driving test date and the document verification date.

APSSB Technical Exam Centre 2026
The written examination will be held in the Itanagar Capital Region only. The Board may cancel any venue or shift candidates to another venue without giving reasons, and requests to change the exam date, time or centre will not be accepted.
Candidates must carry their admit card, downloaded from www.apssb.nic.in, along with the same original photo ID used in the application. Calculators, mobile phones, watches and other electronic gadgets are not allowed in the exam hall.
