APTET June 2026 – Highlights

Candidates who possess D.El.Ed. / B.Ed. or its equivalent qualifications, as well as those pursuing the final semester of said courses, are eligible to appear for APTET-JUNE-2026. The test will be conducted in four papers: Paper-1A (Classes I-V Regular), Paper-1B (Classes I-V Special), Paper-2A (Classes VI-VIII Regular), and Paper-2B (Classes VI-VIII Special). Qualified candidates will receive an APTET certificate valid for life time, and 20% weightage will be given to APTET score in the ensuing Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT).

Who is eligible for APTET June 2026?

Before applying for the test, candidates must be familiar with the required eligibility criteria as set by the officials.

How to Apply for APTET June 2026?

  1. Head over to the official portal of the Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh, at cse.ap.gov.in or tet2dsc.apcfss.in.
  2. Download the ‘Information Bulletin’ free of cost from the website from 05.06.2026 onwards.
  3. Read the instructions thoroughly before submitting the online application form.
  4. Click on the active link for “APTET-JUNE-2026 Online Application” and click on “New Register”.
  5. Provide basic details (Name, DOB, Aadhaar number, email ID, mobile number, category, address, etc.).
  6. Upload your latest photograph (3.5×3.5 cm, pasted on white paper with signature below in black ink) as a single JPEG image (size not more than 50kb).
  7. Complete registration to receive a ‘Journal Number’. (Note: Journal Number is only fee confirmation, not application completion.)
  8. Log in with your Journal Number and credentials, then fill in educational qualifications and select the paper(s) you are applying for.
  9. Preview all details carefully. If correct, press SUBMIT; otherwise, press EDIT and resubmit.
  10. Pay the required application fee (Rs. 1000/- per paper) through the payment gateway.
  11. On completion of submission, take a printout of the application and store it for future use. Do not post the printout to the APTET office.

Important: No candidate is allowed to edit/modify the application once submitted. Any correction requires a fresh application with a fresh fee of Rs. 1000/- within the due date.

APTET June 2026 Selection Process & Weightage

  • 20% weightage will be given to APTET score in the ensuing Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) of the State Government.
  • 80% weightage shall be given for the Written Test in Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) for drawing up the selection list.
  • Qualifying in TET only does not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment; it is only one of the eligibility criteria.

Validity of APTET Certificate

  • The APTET certificate shall be valid for life time in accordance with NCTE guidelines dated 09.06.2021 as amended by the Government in G.O.Ms.No.69, Dated: 25.10.2021.
  • The validity of APTET qualifying certificate acquired prior to 09.06.2021 shall also be valid for life time.
