1. ARCHITECTURAL ASSISTANT/ PLANNING ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 13 Nos. (GT-04, BC-03, MBC/DC-03, SC-02, SC(A)-01)
Educational Qualification:
i) Must possess a Degree of Master of Town planning or its equivalent.
OR
ii) Associate Membership of the Institute of Town planners of India or Institute of Architects of India.
OR
iii) A Degree in Civil Engineering.
OR
iv) A Degree in Architecture.
OR
v) An AMIE (Civil) i.e Associate Member of the Institute of Engineers (India).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01.07.2018. No Maximum age limit for SC/SC(A)/ST, MBC/DC, BCM and Destitute Widows
Pay Scale: Rs.37,700 – 119500/-
Note: Candidates should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil.

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years for PWD category and for Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Oral Test. The Written Examination will be held on 22/12/2018. Examination will be held in the following centres namely Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Trichirappalli, Tirunelveli, Salem and Thanjavur. Oral Test will be held tentatively in the month of April, 2019.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.150/- as Examination Fee and Rs.150/- as Registration Fee. Candidates who have already registered in One-Time Registration system are exempted from paying the registration fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan.
