SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP (SRF)/ JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP (JRF)
No. of Vacancies: 20 Nos.
Educational Qualification:
i) For Senior Research Fellowship: First class M.E/ M.Tech./ M.S. or equivalent in below mentioned specialization.
ii) For Junior Research Fellowship: First class B.E/ B.Tech / M.Sc. or equivalent in below mentioned specialization.
Specialization:
Engineering in Metallurgical & Materials/ Ceramics/ Mechanical & allied branches/ Chemical Engineering/ Nanotechnology OR M.Sc. in Physics/ Chemistry/ Materials Science/ Polymer Chemistry/ Electro-Chemistry/ Organic Chemistry/ Engineering Physics/ Nanoscience.
NET/ GATE qualified candidates shall have an added advantage.
Engineering/ Science candidates who have completed their M.E./ M.Tech./ M.S. or B.E./ B.Tech./ M.Sc. or equivalent during the past three years (not earlier than 2016) and possessing subsequent continuous research experience are eligible to apply. Engineering/ Science students who are presently in their final year/ semester and expected to complete their degrees by July 2018 are also eligible to apply.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 36,700/- for SRF, Rs. 32,800/- for JRF (for candidates with NET/GATE qualification) and Rs. 30,000/- for JRF (for candidates without NET/GATE qualification) per month.
The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis initially for a period of One year and may be extended further upto a maximum period of Three years subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate. The vacancies are for various sponsored projects. Selected candidates will be posted at ARCI Centres either at Hyderabad or Chennai, depending upon the sponsored project to which they are assigned.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview. Interview will be held in the month of July/ August 2018 at Hyderabad.
