No. of Vacancies: 100 Nos.
Block wise vacancies:
i. Arsha Block: 28 posts
ii. Balarampur Block: 23 posts
iii. Hura Block: 29 posts
iv. Purulia-I Block: 11 posts
v. Purulia-II Block: 09 posts
Educational Qualification:
i) Should be Madhyamik or equivalent examination appeared. Candidates possessing higher qualification are also eligible.
ii) Should be a married/ divorced/ widowed woman.
iii) Should be a permanent resident of the same area under the health sub-centre for which she is applying.
iv) Preference will be given to Grade-I & Grade-II SHG Members/ trained Dais/ Link workers.
Age Limit: Between 30-40 years as on 01.01.2018. In case of SC/ST candidates, the lower age limit may be relaxed to 22 years.
The candidates will be appointed on Temporary basis under NRHM for different Health Sub-Centers under different Blocks of Purulia Sadar Sub-Division. Only Female candidates are eligible to apply.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format (See PDF file below) along with attested copies of testimonials in support of Educational Qualification, Caste, Age, Experience certificate (if applicable) and any other relevant documents
Candidates must also enclose 01 (size 23cm x 10cm) Self-Addressed envelope with the Application Form affixed with postage stamp of Rs.5/-.
The envelope containing the print-out/enclosures should be superscribed on top with — “APPLICATION FOR ENGAGEMENT AS ASHA, NAME OF THE SUB-CENTER APPLIED FOR _____ AND NAME OF AREA ______”
Last Date and Address: The duly filled Application form along with enclosures should reach at the Concerned Block Development Office, on or before 02/08/2018 from 11:00 am to 03:00 pm on all working days except Saturday, Sunday and other holidays.
Applications should be sent by Speed Post/ Registered Post or can be dropped in the Drop Box kept at the Concerned Block Development Office.
