1. ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE ENGINEER (CIVIL)
No. of Vacancies: 353 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering in Civil or an equivalent qualification from recognized University/ Institution or must be an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers of India in Civil.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years as on 01/01/2019.
2. ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE ENGINEER (MECHANICAL)
No. of Vacancies: 33 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering in Mechanical or an equivalent qualification from recognized University/ Institution or must be an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers of India in Mechanical.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years as on 01/01/2019.
For the above posts, the candidates must have knowledge in Odia: he/ she must be able to read, write and speak Odia, and have-
a) Passed Middle School examination with Odia as a language subject, or
b) Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as a medium of examination in non-language subject, or
c) Passed in Odia as Language subject in the final examination of Class VII from a school or educational institution recognized by the Govt. of Odisha or the Central Govt., or
d) Passed a test in Odia in Middle School Standard conducted by the School & Mass Education Department/ Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.
The vacancies are in Odisha Engineering Service under the Water Resources Department. The selected candidates will be on Probation for two years.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-servicemen and 10 years for PWD category. Reserved Category candidates from the states other than Odisha shall be treated as General Candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Viva Voce Test. The Written Test will be held at Cuttack. For more details please see the Official Advt.
