1. ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Degree in Library Science from a recognized University.
ii) Knowledge of Computer Operation in Library work.
Desirable: Diploma in Computer Applications of a recognized University/ Institute.
Age Limit: Maximum 44 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.15,000/- per month.
2. STENOGRAPHER GRADE- I
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: i) Master’s Degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks from a recognized University.
ii) Diploma in Stenography on Modern Office Management from a recognized Institution with shorthand speed of 120 wpm.
iii) Computer proficiency with high level familiarity with commonly used package like MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint etc. are mandatory with knowledge of Assamese language.
OR
i) Graduate in any discipline with at least 55% marks from a recognized University.
ii) Diploma in Stenography on Modern Office Management from a recognized Institution with shorthand speed of 120 wpm.
iii) Computer proficiency with high level familiarity with commonly used package like MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint etc. are mandatory with knowledge of Assamese language.
Experience: Minimum 05 years OR minimum 10 years working experience in relevant field.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 44 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.30,000- 1,10,000/- with Grade Pay Rs.13,300/-
The post of Assistant Librarian is on Contractual basis for a period of Twelve (12) months only.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination, Skill Test and Interview wherever applicable.
