ASSISTANT TOWN PLANNER
No. of Vacancies: 14 Nos. (Gen-06, Ex-Serviceman/LDESM-02, Sports Persons-01, SC-02, Balmiki Mazbhi Sikhs-02, Balmiki/Mazbhi Sikhs ESM/LDESM-01)
Educational Qualification:
i) Masters Degree in Town and Country Planning or its equivalent from a recognized University or Institution making the holder eligible for associate membership of the Institute of Town Planners (India).
ii) Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent standard is essential.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100/- with Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
The vacancies are in the Department of Housing & Urban Development, Govt.of Punjab. The selected candidates will be on probation for a period of three years.
Reserved Category candidates from the states other than Punjab shall be treated as General Candidates.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/BC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Competitive Written Examination and Interview. The written examination is tentatively scheduled on 16th December, 2018.

Application Fee & Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.3000/- (Rs.1125/- for SC/ST candidates of all states & BC candidates of Punjab only, Rs.1750/- for PWD candidates of Punjab only and Rs.500/- for Ex-Servicemen of Punjab) as Application Fee and Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Bank only by means of Fee Payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC).
