The application for Bihar ITI CAT 2026 must be submitted online between 16th March and 14th April 2026. The application will only be accepted through the official BCECEB website. The steps to apply online are:

Step 1: Registration: Visit the official website and click on “Online Portal of I.T.I.C.A.T.-2026”. Register using your mobile number and email, which will be verified via an OTP.
Step 2: Personal & Educational Info: Login using your Registration Number and Password. Fill in your personal details, contact information, and educational qualifications
Step 3: Upload Photo & Signature: Upload a high-contrast colored passport-size photo and your signature in Hindi and English.

BCECEB Bihar ITI CAT Selection Process 2026

The selection process for admission to ITIs in Bihar is based on the candidate’s performance in the ITICAT entrance exam. The process includes the following stages:

1. Entrance Exam (ITICAT 2026): It is a single objective-type (multiple choice) offline exam conducted using an OMR sheet.
2. Merit List Preparation: A merit list is prepared based on the total marks obtained in the entrance exam. A district-level merit list is prepared for general ITIs, while a separate state-level merit list is prepared for women’s ITIs.
3. Counseling & Seat Allotment: Final seat allotment is done through centralized counseling based on the candidate’s rank in the merit list, category, and filled-in trade/college preferences.

• Marking Scheme: 2 marks for each correct answer.

In case of a tie in the total marks, preference will be given to the candidate with:
