Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 8907 posts of “Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery” and “Nurse (Grade-A)”. 1. AUXILIARY NURSE MIDWIFERY
Number of Vacancies: 3930 (Gen—1875; SC—735; ST—57; OBC—779; BC—357; BC-Female: 127)
Educational Qualification: Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM) course from recognized institutions and shall have valid registration with Nursing Council.
2. NURSE (GRADE-A)
Number of Vacancies: 4977 Nos. (Gen—2433; SC—875; ST—39; OBC—976; BC—486; BC-Female: 168)
Educational Qualification: General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) course from recognized institutions and shall have valid registration with Nursing Council.
Age Limit (for both posts): Between 21 to 37yrs as on 01-08-2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC/BC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Female candidates—3yrs and Others – As per norms.
Pay Scale: —
For A.N.M: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2400/-
For Nurse (Grade-A): Rs.9300—34800 and Grade Pay: Rs.4600/-

Examination Fee (For all posts): Candidates willing to apply shall pay Examination Fee of Rs.375/– (in case of General, OBC & BC/ EC candidates) and Rs.100/- (for SC/ST candidates) through any branches of State Bank of India by means of Fee Payment Challan, which can be downloaded from the website upon submission of Online Application form.
