No. of Vacancies: 200 Nos. (UR-100, SC-32, ST-02, EBC-36, BC-24, Female (BC)-06)
Educational Qualification: Full time 4 years Engineering Degree BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics from a recognized University/ Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks (50% marks for SC/ST, 55% marks for BC, EBC candidates).
Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-37 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 36800- Rs.58600
- ASSISTANT ENGINEER (CIVIL)
No. of Vacancies: 40 Nos. (UR-20, SC-07, EBC-07, BC-05, Female (BC)-01)
Educational Qualification: Full time 4 years’ B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Sc. (Engineering) Degree in Civil Engineering/ Construction Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks (50% marks for SC/ST, 55% marks for BC, EBC candidates).
Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-37 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 36800- Rs.58600
NOTE: Beside above mentioned qualification, candidates must also possess valid GATE score card.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Note: Candidates belonging to reserved category of state other than Bihar, will be treated as General Candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through valid GATE Score. Candidates selected for the post will be on probation for a period of three years.
