The application is online only. Follow the steps below.
- Visit vidhansabha.bihar.gov.in and open the Recruitment section.
- Open Advertisement No. 01/2026 (JSA) or 02/2026 (Office Attendant) and click “Apply Online”.
- Register with your own working mobile number and email ID, and note your User Name and Password.
- Fill in your personal, educational and category details carefully.
- Upload your photograph, signature, qualification and reservation certificates.
- Pay the fee online.
- Submit before 6th December 2026, then log in again and download the filled application from the “Download Filled Application” section. Print two copies and check that the Bar Code and Application Number appear on every page.

Bihar Vidhan Sabha Selection Process 2026
Junior Secretariat Assistant
Selection will be in two stages: an OMR-based preliminary exam of Matric level, followed by a Hindi and English typing test.

- If many candidates apply, the exam may be held in more than one phase, with normalisation of scores.
Office Attendant
Selection will be through an interview of 100 marks, and the merit list will be based on interview marks. If more than 40,000 candidates apply, an OMR-based objective preliminary exam may be held, and about 10 times the number of vacancies will be called for the interview.
