Border Security Force (BSF) is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 04 posts of Junior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Deputy Commandant), Junior Aircraft Radio Maintenance Engineer (Deputy Commandant) and Assistant Commandant (Logistics). JUNIOR AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (DEPUTY COMMANDANT) – ROTARY WING
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR-01, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: i) (a) Graduate with holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Examination Certificate or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Examination License in any one category of avionics (E,I,R)/ (ES,IS,RN) or (A,C)/ (HA & JE) in mechanical stream.
b) Total Aircraft Maintenance experience of three years including one year as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer preferably with experience on Border Security Force Type of Aircraft or Helicopters.
OR
ii) a) Holder of Engineering Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics and Telecommunications or Aeronautical stream (for MI-17 IV)
OR
Graduate with holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Examination Certificate or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Examination License in Air Frame (A) or Engine (C) or (HA or JE) (for Advance Light Helicopters)
b) Total Aircraft Maintenance experience of three years including one year as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer preferably with experience on Border Security Force Type of Aircraft or Helicopters.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 06/05/2018
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 and Grade Pay Rs.6600/-

 

JUNIOR AIRCRAFT RADIO MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (DEPUTY COMMANDANT) – ROTARY WING

Educational Qualification: i) (a) Graduate with holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Examination Certificate or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Examination License in category Radio Navigation ‘R’ or ‘RN’ with current Radio Telephonic Restricted Operators’ License.
b) Total Aircraft Maintenance experience of three years including one year as Aircraft Radio Maintenance Engineer preferably with experience on Border Security Force Type of Aircraft or Helicopters.
OR
ii) a) Branch commissioned officer of technical stream of Indian Air Force having Engineering Degree or Diploma or equivalent in Electrical or Electronics and Telecommunications (for MI-17 IV)
OR
Graduate with holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Examination Certificate or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Examination License in category Radio Navigation ‘R’/ ‘RN’ with current Radio Telephonic Restricted Operators’ License (for advance Light Helicopters or Dhruv).

ASSISTANT COMMANDANT (LOGISTICS) – ROTARY WING (HEAD QUARTER)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (SC)
Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering from a recognized University or Associate Member of Institute of Engineers
OR
MBA in Material Management from a recognized University or Institute
OR
Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute with one year’s Post Graduate diploma in Stores Management or Material Management from a recognized University or Institute.
Desirable: One year experience in Logistics or Aviation related field from a recognized Organization.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 06/05/2018
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 and Grade Pay Rs.5400/-

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: The selection of candidates will be through Written Examination, Documentation, Oral cum Practical Test, Interview and Medical Examination wherever applicable. The selected candidates will undergo Basic Training at any of the Training Institutes of BSF.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.400/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Demand Draft/ Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Commandant 95 Bn BSF, payable at SBI Badshahpur (Code-02300) or Post Office Bhondsi (HR) respectively.

NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ST/EX-SERVICEMEN/WOMEN AND BSF CANDIDATES.
