1. OPERATOR (FIELD): 196 Nos.
Region/States wise vacancies are as follows:-

1. South (Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka): 121 Nos. (UR-63; SC-8; ST-5; OBC-45)
2. North (Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan): 45 Nos. (UR-23; SC-2; ST-2; OBC-18)
3. West (Maharashtra): 23 Nos. (UR-13; SC-2; ST-2; OBC-6)
4. East (West Bengal): 07 Nos. (UR-0; SC-3; ST-0; OBC-4)

 

Educational Qualification: SSC/SSLC/10th Std pass or HSC/12th pass with ITI/NTC from NCVT (Govt. recognized minimum two year regular full-time course) qualification with a minimum aggregate of 70% marks (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in trades of-
· Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant)
· Electronics
· Electronics Mechanic
· Electrician
· Electrical
· Instrument Mechanic (Chemical Plant)
· Instrumentation

Post Qualification Experience (Desirable Criterion):
· Minimum one year post qualification factory work experience in the relevant trade in Oil & Gas Industry/similar other Industry such as Petrochemical, Processing, Chemical, Power, Fertilizers, Gas Processing etc.
· Apprentice training under Apprenticeship Act, 1961 after 2 year regular full-time course of ITI will be considered as experience subject to production of National Apprenticeship certificate.
· Relevant work experience as General Workman/ Operator in any Oil Storage Depot/ Installation/Plant/such Units, handling Petroleum Products/ Lubricants, operating pipelines and pumps will be preferred.

Note: Candidates possessing higher qualification such as Diploma/B.E./ B.Tech/ BSc. or similar/equivalent qualification, MBA/ MCA/ MSc. or similar/equivalent qualification need not apply.

 

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 23 years as on 01/06/2016

 

Pay Scale: Rs.9250/- – Rs.20200 plus other allowances as per norms.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Skill Assessment and Physical Fitness Tests.
