BTSC Food Analyst Eligibility Criteria 2026
Before applying, candidates must ensure they fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the last date of application.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree from a university established by law in India in any of the following subjects: Chemistry, Microbiology, Dairy Chemistry, Agriculture Science, Veterinary Science, Fisheries Science, Bio-technology, Food Safety, Food Technology, Food and Nutrition, Dairy Technology, Oil Technology, or Veterinary Science; or any other equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government and prescribed by the competent authority, with a minimum of three years’ experience in food analysis. Additionally, candidates must have passed the Food Analyst examination conducted by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), New Delhi.
