Bundelkhand University Faculty Eligibility Criteria
The essential qualifications for each post are as per the norms prescribed by the UGC, AICTE, PCI, NCTE, COA, Bar Council of India, and respective statutory bodies, as adopted by Bundelkhand University. Candidates must also comply with government orders issued by the Uttar Pradesh government from time to time.
For Assistant Professors:
- Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
- NET/SET/SLET shall be the minimum criterion, except for Ph.D. holders qualifying under UGC Regulations 2009 (with course work) and having at least two publications with NAAS rating of 4.0 or above.
- For Agriculture: Two years of teaching/research/extension experience after Master’s degree and publications in NAAS-rated journals are required.
For Associate Professors:
- Ph.D. degree in the concerned discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience at the Assistant Professor level or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed/UGC/NAAS-listed journals.
For Professors:
- Ph.D. degree and 10 years of teaching/research experience, with 8 years as Associate Professor at AGP of ₹9000 or Academic Level 13A.
- Eminent scholar with published work and demonstrated contribution to teaching/research/extension.
