Educational Qualification & Experience
1. Social Worker:
- A Degree from a recognized University.
- A Diploma in Social Work of a minimum of one year duration from a recognized University/Institution.
- One year of experience in Social Work in a recognized Institution/Hospital. OR A Post-graduate degree in Sociology from a recognized University.
2. Upper Division Clerk (UDC):
- A Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in correspondence work in Government/Semi-Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies/Institutions.
- Thorough knowledge of office routine, rules, and regulations.
3. Lower Division Clerk (LDC):
- 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
- A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi/Tamil on Computer (corresponding to 10,500/9,000 Key Depressions Per Hour).
Age Limit
- Social Worker: 30 years and below as on 1st January 2026.
- UDC and LDC: Between 18 and 27 years of age, relaxable up to 5 years for Government servants as per Central Government instructions. The crucial date for determining age is the closing date for receipt of applications (09.09.2026), except for candidates from specified North-Eastern and other listed regions, for whom the extended closing date applies.

CCRS Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The CCRS Selection Process consists of the following stages:
- Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their requisite educational qualifications, experience, and other eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement.
- Written Test: Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a Written Test at the CCRS Headquarters, GST Road, Tambaram Sanatorium, Chennai – 600047, at their own cost. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the test.
- Skill/Typing Test (for LDC post only): This is mandatory and of a qualifying nature.
