CFA Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the minimum eligibility requirements in terms of educational qualifications and age limits. The required criteria are as mentioned below.
Educational Qualification
For Non-ITI Category: Candidates should have passed Madhyamik (Class X standard or equivalent) as on the closing date of application, with a minimum of 50% marks as per the criteria of the concerned Board, and a minimum of 40% marks in both Mathematics and Science.
For ITI Category: Candidates should have passed the relevant trade test from an institute recognised by NCVT or SCVT (or any other authority notified by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship/Ministry of Labour and Employment), with a minimum of 50% marks in the ITI examination. In addition, candidates must have passed Madhyamik/Class-X or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks.

CFA Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection of eligible candidates will be done purely on the basis of merit. Separate merit lists will be prepared for the Non-ITI and Ex-ITI categories.
- Non-ITI Category: Merit list based on the overall percentage of marks in Madhyamik/Matriculation (Class-X or equivalent), considering the aggregate of all subjects or the best of 5 subjects as per the concerned board’s criteria.
- Ex-ITI Category: Merit list based on the simple average of percentage of marks in both Matriculation and ITI (minimum 50% in each).
- Document Verification and Medical Examination: Only provisionally selected candidates, as per the merit/select list, will be called for document verification, followed by a medical examination at Cordite Factory premises.
