National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) is recruiting eligible candidates for 05 posts of Consultant, Data Manager and Data Entry Operator. The candidates will be appointed on Contract basis for a period of One year under National Rabies Control Programme (NRCP) and Program for Prevention & Control of Leptospirosis (PPCL). NATIONAL CENTRE FOR DISEASE CONTROL (NCDC) WILL CONDUCT WALK-IN-INTERVIEW/ SKILL TEST FOR 05 POSTS OF CONSULTANT, DATA MANAGER AND DATA ENTRY OPERATOR. WALK-IN DATE — 16/01/2019
I. UNDER NATIONAL RABIES CONTROL PROGRAMME (NRCP)
1. CONSULTANT (PUBLIC HEALTH)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Medical Graduate with Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma (preferably in Epidemiology Or Public Health such as MD, MPH, DPH, MAE, PhD etc.).
OR
Medical Graduate with 02 years’ experience in related field.
OR
Post Graduate in field of Life Sciences or Veterinary Science or Social Science related to Public Health with 02 years’ experience in Field Epidemiology or experience in handling the health programmes of similar nature.
Age Limit: Maximum 65 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 75,000/- per month.
2. CONSULTANT (VETERINARY)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Post Graduate Veterinary degree from a recognized University in Veterinary Public Health or Veterinary Epidemiology or Veterinary Medicine for Veterinary Microbiology or Veterinary Livestock Production Management (LPM).
ii) Registration in the Veterinary Council or India or Veterinary Council of States.
Experience: i) 15 years’ experience in the Veterinary Public Health or Veterinary Epidemiology or Animal Health.
ii) Relevant experience in Public Health, preferably in disease surveillance and outbreak investigations.
Desirable: i) Broad knowledge and understanding of disease surveillance system, epidemiology and public health practice.
ii) Excellent skill in data analysis in field epidemiology/ public health setting.
iii) Willing to travel extensively within India.
Age Limit: Maximum 65 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 60,000/- per month.
3. DATA MANAGER
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Graduate with one year Diploma course in Computer Application.
Experience: Five years experience in the related field.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 40000/- per month.
4. DATA ENTRY OPERATOR
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Graduate with one year Diploma course in Computer Application.
Experience: One year experience in the related field.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 20,000/- per month.
II. UNDER PROGRAM FOR PREVENTION & CONTROL OF LEPTOSPIROSIS (PPCL)
5. CONSULTANT
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Medical Graduate with Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma (preferably in Epidemiology or Public Health such as MD, MPH, DPH, MAE, PhD etc. or Microbiology).
OR
Medical Graduate with 02 years’ experience in related field.
OR
Post Graduate in field of Life Sciences or Veterinary Science or Social Science related to Public Health with 02 years’ experience in Field Epidemiology or experience in handling the health programmes of similar nature.
Age Limit: Maximum 65 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.60 ,000/- per month.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview/ Skill Test wherever applicable.
