CPCL Selection Process 2026
CPCL Non-Executive Recruitment 2026 selection process comprises three stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT): Conducted for 120 marks in two parts — General Aptitude (50 questions covering Verbal Ability, General Knowledge, Reasoning/Logical Deduction, and Numerical Ability) and Discipline Knowledge (70 questions). Duration is 2 hours, with a penalty of ¼ mark for every incorrect answer. Minimum qualifying marks are 40% (5% relaxation for SC/ST/PwBD).
- Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted in a 1:3 ratio based on CBT performance undergo verification of certificates/testimonials.
- Skill, Proficiency and/or Physical Test (SPPT): Qualifying in nature, conducted for candidates who clear document verification.
Final selection is subject to candidates being found medically fit as per CPCL’s Pre-Employment Medical Standards. The CBT is tentatively scheduled for September/October 2026 at Chennai only.
