CTET February 2026 Exam Dates and Shift Timings

CTET February 2026 will be conducted in two shifts:

  • Paper I (for Classes I to V) – Morning Shift
    Entry Time: 7:30 AM
    Exam Time: 9:30 AM to 12:00 Noon
  • Paper II (for Classes VI to VIII) – Evening Shift
    Entry Time: 12:30 PM
    Exam Time: 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM

Candidates appearing for both papers must note the strict entry timelines gates will close at 9:30 AM for Paper I and 2:30 PM for Paper II.

CTET Admit Card OUT for February 2026 Exam

Exam Pattern and Structure

CTET consists of two papers-Paper I (Primary Stage) and Paper II (Elementary Stage). Both papers are conducted in online (CBT) mode and comprise 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark. There is no negative marking.

Paper I (for Classes I to V) includes five sections:

  1. Child Development & Pedagogy – 30 Questions
  2. Language I – 30 Questions
  3. Language II – 30 Questions
  4. Mathematics – 30 Questions
  5. Environmental Studies – 30 Questions

Paper II (for Classes VI to VIII) includes:
