1. ADDITIONAL DIRECTOR – ANIMAL RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT IN THE WEST BENGAL HIGHER ANIMAL HUSBANDRY & VETERINARY SERVICE UNDER THE ANIMAL RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT, GOVT. OF WEST BENGAL.
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (OBC)
Educational Qualification: i) Master degree in Veterinary Science or Animal Husbandry from a recognized University.
ii) Registration with the West Bengal Veterinary Council is necessary for the holders of Master degree in Veterinary Science.
iii) Knowledge of Bengali/ Nepali and English, both spoken and written.

Age Limit: Maximum 55 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.28,000/- – Rs.52, 000/- plus Grade Pay Rs.7,600/-.
2. DEPUTY DIRECTOR, ANIMAL RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT AND DEPUTY DIRECTOR, ANIMAL RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT & PARISHAD OFFICER IN WEST BENGAL HIGHER ANIMAL HUSBANDRY & VETERINARY SERVICE UNDER THE ANIMAL RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT, GOVT. OF WEST BENGAL.
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos. (UR-02, SC-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: i) Master degree in Animal Husbandry or Bachelor degree in Veterinary Science and having Registration with the West Bengal Veterinary Council.
ii) Knowledge of Bengali/ Nepali and English, both spoken and written.

Age Limit: Maximum 50 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.15, 600/- – Rs.42, 000/- plus Grade Pay Rs.6, 600/-.
3. POSTS OF OFFICERS BELONGING TO CATEGORY ‘A’ IN WEST BENGAL INFORMATION & CULTURAL SERVICE UNDER THE DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION & CULTURAL AFFAIRS, GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL.
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos. (UR-03, SC-01, ST-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: An Honours Degree from a recognized University.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 36 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.15, 600/- – Rs.42, 000/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 5, 400/-.
The posts are Permanent in nature. The vacancies are in different departments.
Note: Candidates should have ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for those whose mother tongue is Nepali).
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms. Age relaxation up to 45 years of age for PWD candidates.
Reserved Category candidates from the states other than West Bengal shall be treated as General Candidates.
