Office of the District Judge of Hooghly is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 39 posts of English Stenographer (Group-B), Lower Division Clerk (Group-C), Process Server (Group-‘D’) and Group-D (Peon/ Farash/ Dayguard/ Nightguard). OFFICE OF THE DISTRICT JUDGE OF HOOGHLY INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 39 POSTS OF ENGLISH STENOGRAPHER (GROUP-B), LOWER DIVISION CLERK (GROUP-C), PROCESS SERVER (GROUP-‘D’) AND GROUP-D (PEON/ FARASH/ DAYGUARD/ NIGHTGUARD). LAST DATE — 29.01.2019

 

1. ENGLISH STENOGRAPHER (GROUP-B)
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos. (UR-03, OBC-02, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: i) Passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination from any recognized Board.
ii) At least a certificate in Computer Training from a recognized Institution and a satisfactory fingering speed in Computer operation.
iii) Minimum speed @ 80 W.P.M. in shorthand and a minimum speed @ 30 W.P.M. in typewriting from a legible manuscript in English for 10 minutes.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.7100/- – Rs.37,600/- with Grade Pay Rs.3900/-

 

2. LOWER DIVISION CLERK (GROUP-C)
No. of Vacancies: 17 Nos. (UR-03, SC-07, OBC-05, ST-02)
Educational Qualification: i) Passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination from any recognized Board.
ii) At least a certificate in Computer Training from recognized Institution and a satisfactory fingering speed in Computer operation.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.5,400/- – Rs.25,200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2600/-

 

3. PROCESS SERVER (GROUP-‘D’)
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (UR-01, SC-01, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Candidate must have Class-VIII pass Certificate from any recognized School or Madrasa or any other recognized equivalent Institution.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5400/- – Rs. 25,200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2300/-

 

4. GROUP-D (PEON/ FARASH/ DAYGUARD/ NIGHTGUARD)
No. of Vacancies: 13 Nos. (UR-07, OBC-02, SC-02, ST-02)
Educational Qualification: Candidate must have Class-VIII pass Certificate from any recognized School or Madrasa or any other recognized equivalent Institution.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.4,900/- – Rs.16,200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1700/-

 

Reserved Category candidates from the States other than West Bengal shall be treated as General Candidates.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. PWD candidates will get Age relaxation up to 45 years of age. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination, Dictation & Transcription Test, Typing Test and Personality Test wherever applicable.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs. 300/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/PWD candidats) for the posts of English Stenographer (Group-B) & Lower Division Clerk (Group-C) and Rs. 250/- (Rs. 200/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates) for the posts of Process Server(Group-D) & Peon/ Farash/ Dayguard/ Nightguard (Group-D) as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of Office of the District Judge of Hooghly — www.districts.ecourts.gov.in/hooghly (See Application form’s link given below) from dated 28.12.2018 to 29.01.2019.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
