Under Ministry of Defence, Grey Iron Foundry, Jabalpur (M.P.) is recruiting 17 persons for the posts of — Durwan (Male), Storekeeper, Fireman and Medical Assistant. Matriculation and Higher Secondary candidates may apply. Application is to be made on prescribed format. 1. Durwan (Male): 10 Nos. (Gen—7; SC—01; ST—01; OBC—01). Out of them 2nos for Ex-serviceman.
Qualification: Madhyamik pass and must be physically fit.
Physical Standards: Height—165 cms, Chest (unexpanded/ expanded): 77cms/ 82cms and Weight: 45 kgs minimum
Age limit: between 20yrs to 27yrs.
Pay scale: Rs.5200—Rs.20200 and Grade pay—Rs.1800
2. Storekeeper: 1 Nos. (ST)
Qualification: 10+2 and must have knowledge of computer as of ‘O’ level certificate of DOEACC
Age limit: within 27yrs
Pay scale: Rs.5200—Rs.20200 and Grade pay—Rs.1900
3. Fireman: 5 Nos. (Gen—1; SC—1; ST—2; OBC—1)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass and must have done basic course on elementary fire fighting of duration minimum 6 months. Candidates should be physically fit.
Physical Standards: Height—165cms, Chest (unexpanded/ expanded): 81.5cms/ 85cms, Weight: 50 kgs minimum.
Age limit: between 18yrs to 25yrs
Pay scale: Rs.5200—Rs.20200 and Grade pay—Rs.1900
4. Medical Asstt: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: 10+2 and must have undergone a course of instructions in First Aid from recognised Institutions. Candidates should have knowledge of First Aid and knowledge of Operation Theatre and sterilization procedure.
Age limit: within 27yrs
Pay scale: Rs.5200—Rs.20200 and Grade pay of Rs.1800.
Age relaxation: Age of the candidates mentioned above will be taken as on last date of Application. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs; PWD—10yrs, Ex-Serviceman and others – as per norms.
Selection of candidates will be through Written Test. There will be skill test and Physical Standards Measurement test as per applicable for the post. For details, refer the Advt. (link given below).
Examination Fee: Candidates are required to prepare Crossed Demand Draft or Indian postal Orders of Rs.50/ in favour of – “General Manager, GIF Jabalpur, and payable at—Jabalpur. SC/ST/PH and Ex-serviceman are not required to pay fees.
How to Apply: Candidates should prepare the Application form on plain as per format only. Application form should be enclosed with all documents in SELF-ATTESTED attest copies in support of – Age, Qualification, Diploma/ Training certificate, Caste certificate, experience, if any, DD/ IPO of Rs.50/- and any other relevant documents in support. Employed candidates should enclose ‘No Objection Certificate’ in original. Candidates should affixed self-signed passport size photographs on application form at three places earmarked for it. Signature on the photo should be in such way that it runs both on photo and form.
