ECIL ITI Trade Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates must fulfil the prescribed age, educational qualification and other conditions as on the specified eligibility date.
Age Limit (as on 31/10/2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years for General Candidates
- Maximum Age: 28 years for OBC Candidates
- Maximum Age: 30 years for SC/ST Candidates
- Additional 10 years relaxation in age will be given for PWD candidates
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess ITI Pass Certificate i.e. NCVT certificate in the respective Trade.
Other Requirements
- Candidates residing in all Districts of Telangana State only are eligible to apply.
- The Degree of Disability for PWD Candidates is 40% & above.
- All qualifications should be from Indian Institutes recognized by Appropriate Statutory Authority.

The selection process for ECIL ITI Trade Apprentice posts is based on:
- ITI Marks Merit – Candidates will be selected based on the ITI marks merit.
- Reservation: 70% of Seats will be engaged with Government ITI students and 30% of seats with Private ITI students.
- Document Verification – Date of verification of Original Documents will be intimated by email to candidates in due course of time.
Documents to be Presented at the Time of Document Verification
- Online registered application form duly signed by the candidate and with recent color passport size photo affixed.
- All original certificates in support of MSDE Registration, date of birth, identity (Govt. issued only like Aadhaar, Driving License, Passport etc.), Educational Qualification, Latest Caste & Disability (PWD) certificates (wherever applicable) along with a set of photocopies.
