Key Benefits for Ex-Agniveers
1. 50% Reservation in Recruitment
Ex-Agniveers will now get 50% of vacancies reserved in Constable (GD) and Rifleman posts across CAPFs and Assam Rifles — a significant career pathway after completing Agniveer service.
2. Upper Age Relaxation
- 3 years relaxation in the prescribed upper age limit for all Ex-Agniveers.
- An additional 5 years (8 years total) for candidates from the first batch of Ex-Agniveers.
3. Exemption from Recruitment Tests
Ex-Agniveers are exempted from three major recruitment stages, in recognition of their existing military training:
