NORTH CENTRAL RAILWAY, RAILWAY RECRUITMENT CELL INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION AGAINST SCOUTS & GUIDES QUOTA FOR 08 GROUP ‘C’ AND GROUP ‘D’ (ERSTWHILE) POSTS. LAST DATE — 24/12/2018
1. GROUP ‘C’
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (Over North Central Railway)
Educational Qualification: Intermediate or equivalent examination passed with 50% aggregate marks from any recognized Board/ University.
For Technical Posts:- Matriculation/ SSLC plus ITI from recognized Institutions of NCVT/ SCVT or Matriculation/ SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship.
Note: The condition of 50% marks is not required in case of SC/ST/Ex-servicemen and candidates possessing higher qualification.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
2. GROUP ‘D’ (ERSTWHILE)
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos. (Allahabad-02, Agra-02, Jhansi-02)
Educational Qualification: 10th class pass from any recognized Board or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 33 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1800/-
SCOUTS & GUIDES QUALIFICATION:
The candidates should possess the following certificates in support of their Scouts & Guides qualification:-
i) A President’s Scout/ Guide/ Ranger/ Rover OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) Holder in any section.
ii) Should have been an active member of a Scouts organization for at least 05 years.
iii) Should have attended two events at National level OR All India Railways’ level and two events at State level.
The vacancies are against Scouts & Guides Quota for the year 2018-19 in North Central Railway.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Marks on Certificates. The Written Test will be conducted at Allahabad.
