1. CONSTABLE (GENERAL DUTY)
No. of Vacancies: 6147 Nos.
i) Male: 5000 posts (Gen-2300, SC-900, BC-1100, ESM-700)
ii) Female: 1147 posts Gen-528, SC-206, BC-253, ESM-160
Educational Qualification: i) Candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from recognized Board/ Institution and (ii) Hindi/ Sanskrit upto Matric standard or higher education.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/04/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.21700-69100/-
2. RESERVE BATTALION OF HARYANA STATE MALE CONSTABLE (GENERAL DUTY)
No. of Vacancies: 500 Nos. (Gen-230, SC-90, BC-110, ESM-70)
Educational Qualification: i) Candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from recognized Board/ Institution and (ii) Hindi/ Sanskrit upto Matric standard or higher education.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/04/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.21700-69100/-
3. SUB-INSPECTOR
No. of Vacancies: 463 Nos.
i) Male: 400 posts (Gen-184, SC-72, BC-88, ESM-56)
ii) Female: 63 posts (Gen-29, SC-12, BC-14, ESM-08)
Educational Qualification: i) Graduation from any recognized University or its equivalent and (ii) Hindi/ Sanskrit upto Matric standard or higher education.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 27 years as on 01/04/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.35400-112400/-
The vacancies are in Haryana Police Department. Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply. Reserved Category candidates of other States will be treated as Unreserved (General) category candidates.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/BC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards (For all above posts):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 170 cms (168 cms for eligible reserve categories); Chest (unexpanded) — 83 cms (81 cms for eligible reserve categories); Chest (expanded) — 87 cms (85 cms eligible reserve categories)
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 158 cms (156 cms for eligible reserve categories)
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Knowledge Test, Physical Screening Test, Physical Measurement Test and on basis of Additional Qualification.
