HARYANA TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST (HTET)
Eligibility/ Educational qualification of the candidates willing to sit for Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) for future selection to the post of Primary Teacher, Trained Graduate Teacher and Post Graduate Teacher is available in the official website of HTET. Below mentioned qualification/criteria are in brief for informational purpose only.
1. PRIMARY TEACHER (PRT)
Educational Qualification: i) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education.
ii) And Matric passed with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary / Graduation / Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects.
2. TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHER (TGT)
Educational Qualification: B.A./B.Com/B.Sc and Diploma in Elementary Education / Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.). in the concerned subject.
3. POST GRADUATE TEACHER (PGT)
Educational Qualification: i) Post Graduate Degree in the concerned subject.
ii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary / Graduation / Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the Subjects.
iii) Consistent good academic record.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Teachers Eligibility Test.
