i. Mali: 01 post (UR-01)

Educational Qualification: Matriculation Pass or equivalent and proficiency in relevant trade

TRADESMAN SKILLED (INDUSTRIAL): 05 posts
i. Tailor: 02 posts (UR-02)
ii. Blacksmith: 01 post (UR-01)
iii. ICE Fitter Crane: 02 posts (UR-02)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation Pass or equivalent with knowledge of English.
Candidates should have completed Apprenticeship Training in the respective Trade OR Mechanic or equivalent with two years regular service in the appropriate Technical Branch of the Army, Navy and Air Force.
Age Limit: Between 18 years to 25 years as on closing date of online application form.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.1900/-

 

3. Telephone Operator: 03 posts (UR-02, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification:Matriculation or its equivalent with English as a compulsory subject and proficiency in handling of PBX Board.
Desirable Qualification: Fluency in spoken English.
Age Limit: Between 18 years to 25 years as on closing date of online application form.
Pay Scale:5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.2000/-

 

4. Fire Engine Driver-II: 06 posts (UR-03, SC-01, OBC-02)
Educational Qualification:Matriculation or its equivalent.
Candidates must have at least three years experience of driving Heavy Vehicles and be in possession of valid driving license and physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties.
Desirable Qualification:
i. Candidates should be familiar with maintenance and operation of various types of fire appliances
ii. Experience of having worked on a regular civil or defence fire Brigade as Fireman Grade-I or Senior Fireman
iii. Should have passed the general firefighting course of Defence
Physical Standard
Height: Minimum 165 cms (2.5 cms concession for ST Candidates)
Chest: Un-expanded- 81.5 cms and on expansion- 85 cms
Weight: Minimum 50kgs
Age Limit: Between 18 years to 25 years as on closing date of online application form
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.2000/-

 

5. Motor Transport Electrician Grade-II: 02 (UR-02)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation Pass or equivalent and two years experience as electrician in an Automobile Workshop
Age Limit:Between 18 years to 30 years as on closing date of online application form
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

 

6. Boot Maker (Industrial): 01 post (SC-01)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation Pass or equivalent and Certificate from ITI or equivalent in the appropriate /akin field or trade.
Age Limit: Between 18 years to 25 years as on closing date of online application form
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

 

7. Tradesman Mate (erstwhile -MTS Industrial): 20 posts (UR-18, SC-01, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation Pass or equivalent.
Age Limit: Between 18 years to 25 years as on closing date of online application form.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

 

8. Lascar OD (now Lascar-I): 04 posts (UR-03, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation Pass or equivalent. Candidates must know swimming
Desirable: One year service on a Ship/Craft
Age Limit: Between 18 years to 35 years as on closing date of online application form
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.1800/

 

Age Limit (For all above posts/discipline): Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination, Physical Test and Swimming Test where ever applicable. Examination will be held on 17/10/2016 and 28/10/2016
