SEMI-SKILLED WORKMEN
Trade wise vacancies are as follows —
A. Welders in SMAW, CO2 (MIG-MAG) & TIG Welding/Gas Cutters: 59 posts. (UR—28; SC—10; ST—5; OBC—16; PH—2)
Qualification: SSC or equivalent pass and ITI in the trade with NAC in the concerned trade conducted by NCVT
B. Fitters (including Structural Fitters): 46 posts. (UR—22; SC—8; ST—3; OBC—13; PH—2)
Qualification: SSC or equivalent pass and 03 years Fitter Structural Training Course with NAC in the concerned trade conducted by NCVT
C. Electricians: 28 posts. (UR—15; SC—4; ST—2; OBC—7; PH—1)
Qualification: SSC or equivalent and experience in experience in operation of EOT/Electric Cranes.
D. Pipe Fitters (Plumbers): 10 posts. (UR—4; SC—2; ST—1; OBC—3)
Qualification: SSC or equivalent pass and ITI in the trade with NAC in the concerned trade conducted by NCVT
E. Turners/ Machinists: 2 posts. (UR)
Qualification: SSC or equivalent pass and ITI in the trade with NAC in the concerned trade conducted by NCVT
F. Carpenters: 2 posts. (SC—1; OBC—1)
Qualification: SSC or equivalent pass and ITI in the trade with NAC in the concerned trade conducted by NCVT
G. Mobile Crane Operator: 3 posts. (UR—2; OBC—1)
Qualification: SSC or equivalent pass and must possess Driving Licence for heavy vehicle and practical experience in operating all types of cranes including EOT cranes.
Experience Required (Applicable to all above trades): Minimum Four years experience in the relevant trade in Shipbuilding / Ship repairs / Naval Dockyards.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 25th July, 2015. Relaxation of Age in case of reserved categories will be given as per Govt. Rules.
Pay Scale: Rs.6970/- — Rs.13700/- plus other allowances as per norms.
