HPRCA Coach Eligibility Criteria 2026
Only those candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification, sports participation, and age limit will be eligible to apply online for HPRCA Coach vacancies.
Educational Qualification (Essential)
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University/Institution.
- One-year diploma in coaching from the National Institute of Sports (NIS) in India in the concerned Sports/Game.
OR
Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Coaching awarded by a recognized State Sports University in the concerned Sports/Game. - Must have participated at University/State/National/International level championship in the concerned Sports/Game.
Additional Educational Condition
- A candidate shall be eligible if he/she has passed Matriculation and 10+2 from any School/Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. Provided that this condition shall not apply to Bonafide Himachalis.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 45 years
- Relaxation (for HP Domiciles): SC/ST/OBC/PwD/HP Govt. Employees/Ex-servicemen – up to 5 years.
Application Fee
While submitting the HPRCA Coach Application Form 2026, candidates have to pay a fixed fee. The fee will be paid only through the Online Payment Gateway (Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking) and once paid will not be refunded.

- Register on OTR Portal: Candidates must be registered on the One Time Registration (OTR) portal of HPRCA before filling the Online Recruitment Application (ORA).
- Go to the official website: Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (https://hprca.hp.gov.in).
- Click on the “Recruitment” section and find the advertisement for Advertisement No. 10/2026 (Sports Coach Posts) .
- Read the official notification PDF carefully (eligibility, fees, terms of Annexure-“X”).
