HQ ANDAMAN & NICOBAR COMMAND, PORT BLAIR INVITES APPLICATION FOR 46 STENOGRAPHER, DEO, DRAUGHTSMAN AND MTS. LAST DATE — 03/05/2015 (13.05.2015)

 

1. Stenographer Grade-II: 11 Nos. (Gen—8; SC—1 & OBC—2)
Educational Qualification: 12th passed and ability to take Dictation Test for 10 minutes @ 80wpm and Transcription of same within 50 minutes in English or 65mts in Hindi on Computer.

 

2. Draughtsman: 2 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: 12th passed with 2 years Diploma in Draughtsman Ship OR 2 years experience.

 

3. Data Entry Operator: 2 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science as main subject and should have speed of 8000 key depression per hour for Data Entry Work.

 

4. Multi Tasking Staff (Office & Training): 31 Nos. (Gen—17; SC—4; ST—2 & OBC—8)
Educational Qualification: 10th passed.

 

Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on the last date of receipt of application. The upper age relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years; OBC is 3 years; PWD is 10 years and Ex-Serviceman as per govt. norms.

 

Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Skill Test (wherever applicable) and Interview.
Dictation/Interview/Typing Test etc for Steno & DEO will be held at Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination will be intimated in due course.
